This Handbook is designed for participants on the Soul course.
“Soul” is a life-changing journey through the Gospel of Mark. In seven interactive sessions, plus a day away, teenagers and young adults will find out what Christians believe, discover the Bible’s answers to the big questions of life and explore what Christianity is really all about. “Soul” is the name for the 14+ part of the original CY course from Christianity Explored.
We have used this (with the accompanying DVD, and leaders' guide) for the first 7 weeks of our Y10 home group for the past 4 years. We find it deeply helpful, going through the fundamentals of the Christian faith with kids who may have very differing knowledge about who Jesus is, why He came, and what that means for them. Sets up the rest of our year really well, and gives us lots to refer back to. Very accessible.

I bought this material to use with a small group of teens that do Bible study with me. All of them have heard about Jesus before, but it's amazing to see them finding out who He really is, as the sessions go by. The material is complete, with ideas of activities to do with groups where members already know each other, or with recently formed groups. The videos are very well produced and straight to the point. I love it!

We're chose to use Soul to help prepare candidates for Confirmation, as this is aimed at teenagers and young adults.
The material is easy to use and has helped people to see who Jesus is and why Jesus came.
