This is the revised version of the best-selling Christianity Explored book, written by Rico Tice and Barry Cooper, is a jargon-free introduction to Christianity.
Drawing from the book of Mark in the Bible the book explores who Jesus was, what his aims were, and what it means to follow him.
Concise, entertaining and honest, it's an ideal book for anyone with little or no experience of Christianity. It can be used to encourage people to join a Christianity Explored course, to consolidate what has been learned by a guest, or simply as a way of reaching those who would rather not come to church.

Further Exploration
Rico Tice and Barry Cooper skilfully relate timeless truth to our pluralistic, pop culture in a refreshingly relaxed and honest approach that draws the reader into the great adventure of discovering for himself who Jesus is. Using a secular approach to reach the secular mind, and based on Mark's biography of Jesus, Christianity Explored is logical, reasonable, humorous, easy to read - and true! For starters, I want six copies - one to keep and five to give away!
Christianity Explored is the best resource I have ever read for knowing Jesus Christ. It is clear, precise and very enjoyable.
Here's what I really like about this book: it's honest, hiding nothing. It doesn't mince its words and tells it straight. It focuses on the authentic portrait of Jesus as painted in Mark's Gospel.
We're all looking for truth. This book is easy to read and easy to understand. It just tells you straight. I read the book three times!
What a brilliant book. I really can't praise it too highly. It is the most readable evangelistic book I think I have ever read and ideal for our teenagers at camp too... a real page-turner.
An evangelistic book which takes readers to the text of Scripture has got to be a good idea... It is well written and quite a page-turner... There is a warmth and solidity to the book... It is reminiscent of some of the great 'studenty' evangelistic books of the past which used to be written by people like David Watson and Michael Green. The book is to be particularly recommended for the clarity of the message and the fact that it pulls no punches with respect to Jesus's demand for discipleship, that we must take up the cross if we are to follow him. It would be good to give to any non-Christian and certainly would make a fine follow-up to any Christianity Explored course. Well done, you guys!
This would be a useful resource for someone doing the talks of a Christianity Explored course. There are a number of fresh stories and illustrations to steal! A punchy, well-illustrated picture of Jesus... Christianity Explored is a welcome addition to the evangelistic armoury.
