My Youth Club like it. 
An excellent course
A group of unchurched young people wanted to find out a bit more about being Christians - this material allowed them to explore for themselves, lead sessions for themselves and 'own' their journey with Christian adults alongside, rather than leading. Really excellent. We are now looking at Discipleship Explored as a follow-on. (One slight criticism - the trailer almost put them off, being far more 'religious' than the course itself!)
Truth, but inaccessible
Very middle class. Pretty high literacy level required. Not appropriate to most people in the land!
the accompanying video seems very dull, pompous and boring to our people. Tried to use the video once but couldn't use it again.
All in all, not recommended unless you are dealing only with literate middle class people with a significant boredom resistance rating!
excellent material
We are using this material with a wide age range from 11-18 years, on a Sunday morning, but because of the way our church services work we cannot meet evey Sunday, so we are spreading it out over a longer period than is suggested and we are adapting it to suit our youngsters. This means that we start all together with one of the suggested group activities and then we divide into 11-14yrs(Yrs 7-9) and then up to 18(Yrs 10-13). We use the Soul DVD with the older group and have found it excellent, but we decided that it was too graphic for some of our younger ones, so we prepare the talks based on the material in the Leaders' manual, which is also excellent material.
We have considered the weekend away, but we are in fact taking 30 youngsters to CYE (Christian Youth Enterprises) in Chichester in April and not all of them are following Christianity Explored, so we have decided to cover the Inside Track material in our Sunday sessions, but may well get the group together during those weeks for a lunch, so that we can spend the time needed to cover the special sessions in the best way for our group. So this is a 'work in progress'. We would thoroughly recommend this course and are hoping that we may be able to use it in the future to draw other young people in, but at the present time we are focusing on the young people we already have and it is proving to be just what they need! It is very good from the leaders' point of view, as all the material is set out extremely well in the manual and the website is very good for additional materal. So, 5 stars!
Excellent material
Material is very good. Handbooks are well written and provide good additional information. Only negative would be the price of individual handbooks for participants which at £3 (for something which could be a photocopiable handout) is a bit steep.
